Hello
I’m Laura, a Glass Artist. As well as selling my work, I run one off workshops & courses teaching the art of Fused Glass from my Home Studio near Knebworth. My ethos is simple, Enjoy what you do! I also run workshops away from my studio for Community Groups, Family Get Togethers & Childrens Parties.
Fused Glass is a method of combining different types of glass under high temperatures in a kiln.
I have a Degree in Design and for a long time my wish to work with coloured glass has grown. In 2021 I bought myself a glass kiln to start making Fused Glass.
I love the colour, translucency and versatility of glass and is forever learning. The scope of what can be achieved using plain sheets of glass is enormous and ranges from Decorative Vases, to Hanging Panels and Jewellery.
